Katuri Venkateswara Rao has dedicated over four decades to the art of sculpture, excelling in temple construction and the creation of statues of eminent leaders and freedom fighters. His sculptures have been installed not only across the Telugu states but also in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and various regions throughout India. His work has gained international recognition, earning widespread acclaim.

By employing innovative techniques and utilizing materials such as iron scrap and other metals, Shri Katuri Venkateswara Rao has carved a distinguished name for himself in the field of sculpture.

As a sixth-generation sculptor, he upholds the rich artistic legacy of the Katuri family while also mentoring his sons, Katuri Ravichandra and Katuri Sri Harsha, who represent the seventh generation of sculptors.

In Tenali, he established the Katuri Art Gallery, a premier destination for art enthusiasts, where hundreds of sculptures are displayed, showcasing his extraordinary contributions to the field. The gallery has attracted numerous artists, art connoisseurs, and dignitaries, all of whom have lauded the artistic excellence and legacy of the Katuri family.

Katuri Ravi Chandra, a seventh-generation sculptor, continues the rich artistic heritage of the Katuri family with his exceptional craftsmanship and innovative approach to sculpture.

While proficient in bronze, fiber, and traditional figurative sculptures, Ravi Chandra has gained widespread recognition for his specialization in iron scrap sculptures. His expertise lies in transforming discarded metal parts into extraordinary works of art, skillfully utilizing techniques such as bending, twisting, cutting, and welding to breathe life into salvaged materials.

He has created large-scale iron scrap sculptures, both figurative and modern, which are displayed at various locations across India. His artistic presence is particularly strong in Bangalore, where numerous monumental works stand as a testament to his skill. Additionally, his sculptures have been showcased internationally, including exhibitions in Singapore and Malaysia, earning him significant recognition in the global art community.

With a passion for preserving and evolving the art of sculpture, Shri Katuri Ravi Chandra is not only upholding his family's prestigious legacy but also pushing the boundaries of contemporary sculptural artistry through his unique and innovative approach.

Sree Harsha Katuri is a sculptural artist and 3D technologist who blends traditional craftsmanship withadvanced digital technologies to create impactful artworks rooted in narrative and cultural significance.
As part of the seventh generation of the Katuri family of sculptors, Sree Harsha carries forward a richartistic legacy while pioneering modern methods of sculpture-making through technology.
His creative process is driven by the idea that sculpture transcends form — it is a medium that preserves stories, heritage, and emotion.Whether crafting realistic bronze portraits or abstract installations from iron scrap and automobile parts, each piece reflects a fusion of art,science, and technology, often exploring themes of identity, transformation, sustainability, and human connection.
Merging Tradition with TechnologySree Harsha’s expertise includes 3D scanning, digital sculpting, CNC milling, 3D printing, and mold-making, allowing him to execute projectswith high precision and artistic intent. His approach enables the production of sculptures in diverse scales and materials, from miniaturemodels to large-scale public artworks. He further integrates artificial intelligence and virtual reality into his workflow, expanding thepossibilities of how sculpture can be designed, experienced, and understood.
His material choices often carry symbolic weight — for example, using recycled metal and iron scrap to represent industrial growth, sustainability,
and the resilience of form. These elements help him craft meaningful sculptures that connect deeply with contemporary audiences.

Sree Harsha’s work has been featured in prestigious art venues such as the State Art Gallery, Hyderabad, and he was honored with the Konduri Veeragava Charylu Regional Artist Award in 2022.


Through his work at Katuri Sculptures, Sree Harsha is not only preserving the Katuri family’s artistic heritage but also transforming Tenali
into a hub for innovative sculpture art, where technology and tradition coexist to create timeless works of art. His contributions were further
recognized when his artwork was featured in the book Art of Andhra, which magnified his role in shaping contemporary art in the region.
